Cheesy Jalepeno Cornbread

Mix two boxes of Jiffy Cornbread mix as directions indicate. Add to that a can of cream style corn and stir well. Put 1/2 that mixture into a 13X9 glass pan sprayed with vegetable oil. Sprinkle on some (about 1 1/2 C) mild cheddar cheese and some cut jalapeno peppers (I use the ones in the jar *hot*). Now, cover the layer with the remaining batter and bake in the oven at 375 for 40 minutes.
Enjoy with any meaty stew or chili!
